Client: JBar/FusionSite
Location: Tesla Giga Texas
Objective: Enable accurate restroom tracking, service verification, and site-wide feedback through AirVote.

Overview

At the Tesla Gigafactory in Austin, Texas, JBar/FusionSite manages approximately 300 portable restrooms. Tesla’s expectations include not only maintaining high cleanliness standards but also providing verifiable proof of service and transparency into restroom locations and usage across the large and constantly changing site.

To meet these requirements, JBar implemented AirVote – a platform that combines service tracking, real-time feedback, and location visibility into one simple QR-based solution.

How AirVote Helps

Using AirVote QR decals, each restroom unit on site is uniquely identified and connected to the AirVote system.

* Tesla workers can scan the QR code to provide instant feedback on restroom conditions, alerting JBar staff to “challenge areas” that may need extra attention.

* JBar drivers scan the same QR codes during their daily cleaning rounds to log service events, automatically generating digital proof of service.

* Every scan – whether for feedback or service – causes the unit’s location to appear on the AirVote map, allowing both JBar and Tesla to track assets in real time.

* Tesla’s finance team receives daily service reports, ensuring accountability and transparency in billing and operations.

* Tesla management can also view JBar’s restroom assets directly on the AirVote map, making it easy to monitor service completion and current unit placement.

* Because restrooms are frequently relocated across the Tesla site, AirVote allows Tesla staff to scan the QR code and share the new GPS location, ensuring JBar drivers always know where each unit is for timely servicing.

During an on-site collaboration, the AirVote team worked with both JBar and Tesla teams to ensure that all units were properly configured – each restroom tagged with its serial number and correctly paired with its QR decal – optimizing setup for reliable tracking and reporting. The AirVote team also trained both JBar and Tesla staff on how to log services, track unit locations, and run reports, ensuring seamless adoption and consistent use across the site.
